US meddling in Iran, since 1953, has had a several chapters. Each chapter has proven to be not just a misstep, but gigantic geopolitical blunders.
This current war of Trump's choice, for Israel, is no different and has already turned into a total quagmire.

President Report believes that the 73 years of US meddling in Iran is not and never was in the best interest of America.
Whilst countless pundits and history deficient individuals make the claim that Iran has been a problem for the world for "47 years", they forget or never knew the history of the illegal coup d'état that the CIA ran against Iran in 73 years ago in 1953, overthrowing Iran's democratically elected prime minister, Mohammad Mosaddegh, to install The Shah, an authoritarian dictator.
To counter the public outrage and contempt that the Iranian public had for the US installed Shah, a secret police force known as the SAVAK was created & trained by the CIA, to repress political opponents, dissidents, and leftists with torture and violence.
Furthermore, most Americans and pundits are either unaware or conveniently forget that the US funded Iran/Iraq war, in which the US supplied Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein with unlimited weapons, satellite intelligence and other support, including providing dual purpose supplies that allowed Iraq's military to create biological and chemical weapons of mass destruction, which were used to kill hundreds of thousands of Iranians in that long running 8 year US backed war, not to forget those who were permanently maimed and lived.
In summary, the Iranian people never forgot who overthrew their democratically elected prime minister, installed a brutal dictator. The Iranian people have not forgotten who funded and supported the Iran/Iraq war that killed hundreds of thousands and maimed countless others who still pass down the story of that long running war 'til this day.
Had the US not overthrown the democratically elected Prime Minister of Iran in 1953 and installed a authoritarian dictator, the present leadership in Iran would not have gotten into power. When the Iranian people rose up against The Shah, it created a power vacuum that led to the current bad leadership from 1979, til the present.
If the US thinks it can bomb Iran to oblivion, as has been threatened by president Trump on multiple occasions, and install another dictator, such as the son of The Shah, or follow through on Trump's threats of bombing water, power, travel & communications infrastructure in Iran, the US is setting itself up for a in-kind response which could lead to the death of millions of Americans inside the United States.
The CIA itself has written extensively on the subject of BLOWBACK. Apparently, supporters of this war of choice have failed to take heed of the CIA's on advice on the subject.
